Since you are posting this in fish judging section, I have a question.

Do you want us to judge the quality of your fish OR just want to show your fish?

I'm not familiar with your filtration, but I was wondering if you have to clean your tank alot with 19 GF in a 75g tank? Your ranchus are very nice!!! I love the tank, as well!

Thanks. :D hehe. I've had the tank for almost a year now.

The OHF is a 3-layer Supreme Aqua brand.
Layer 1: Filter foam and wool (wet)
Layer 2: BioBalls (dry)
Layer 3: Green Mat and Ceramic rings (wet)

The stock non submersible pump cannot catch up with the bioload as the school grew in numbers, so i had to replace it with a Rio 10HF with custom pvc pipes.

Actually the ideal trickle filter for a 75g is the Mr Aqua 4-ft multilayer OHF, but for the meantime, i am ok with what i have.

The Airpump is a precision 9500cc
1st outlet: to Sponge Filter
2nd outlet: to air stone

Both i guess. haha. I do know that some of the fish dont have perfect curves, but as i went along with the purchases, i have learned the standards and the flaws to watch out for.....Im ready for judgement day.....fire away chief :D

I do 30% WC once a week. I clean only the top layer wools under running water since its the mechanical filtration, also during WC.

I used to have water quality issues with the stock pump, but the Rio 10 HF solved my problem. Even if i dont clean for 2 weeks, i still have clear water....but i just make sure that i do it weekly to control the levels and maintain water quality.

I guess it also helped that i dont have stones or gravel. The dirt just crawls to the pump.

Pare, sobrang linis ang fish tank mo. Maingay ba ang filtration mo or parang waterfalls sound effect ba?

* sorry yung tagalog ko rusty. Pero mas-mabuti ang bisaya ko:)

haha. Ayos naman tagalog mo Bai.

Thanks and thanks to all for the kind words. I dont really notice, but i guess it sounds like a mini-fountain rather than a faucet running on a filled basin....if this makes any sense.

It aint that noisy, thats for sure. I hear the vibration of the pump more than the water drip. :D But i just adjust the pipes when it touches the glass of the overhead plastic lining of the filterbox.

Beautiful tank! I must admit, I was a little concerned about the stocking levels, but it seems that you have it under control. Is 30% enough?

Thank you. I sometimes do 50% WC and a lot of salt. Since Goldfish adapt easily, i just load straight from the faucet. I used to stock water for 24 hours but i opted to get directly from the faucet.

But i do no more than 50%, except if there is good enough reason to do so.

nice.

Ill watch out for that here in the Philippines.

By the way, how much is the price range for Ranchus in your local areas, and where are you located?

In the Philippines, a AAA SVR ranchu is about USD45.00 (4-5 inches). The young ranchus at about 2-3 inches is about USD5.00 to USD10.00, depending on the body curve and wen growth. Some LFS are not too keen on the quality so they sometimes sell an "A" class ranchu for about USD8.00. :D

those fish are too cute for their own good!!!!!!!
just wondering, don't you think maybe a couple of plants and some river rocks might be good for them to mess with? (they will redecorate)

Im from Quezon CIty, btw.
