I have a Pondmaster 1500 filter in my 150g pond. The pond has 5 fancies. I have had it set up for about 2 months and I have cleaned the filter pad twice. I was just wondering if I should be cleaning it more often? I usually just swish it really well in a bucket full of pond water as I am doing a water change.

That sounds perfect to me (gently clean filter once a month).

Okay. I just wanted to make sure I was cleaning it enough. This is my first pond and I don't want to mess it up if I can help it! LOL!
