Water Turning Yellow

Does anybody else have problems with there water tinting yellow. This happens in my tank within about 4 days of a 60% water change. This makes the tank not quite so attractive to look at. I'm looking for solutions besides running charcoal.

I have no live plants, no wood just some rocks gravel an fake plants

Thoughts are and suggestions please.

do a water change and feed something totally different, it is probably something in the fish food, like Spirulina, corn gluten,plant extracts etc.:exact:

do you know your rocks? Could it be something leaching out of a rock?

Food would be more suspect as Cincy said above, but just thinking outside the fish food box
