Hello, I have 55 gallon tank with 5 butterflies. After learning what yawning meant I treated for flukes. Using the goldfish connection instructions and Aqua-Prazi powder, that was the first of April. The fish are yawning and sitting on the bottom again. Can I treat them again after only one month, and should the treatment be more than one week? Todd Bert

Hi todd bert,
prazi powder treatment will kill flukes but not the eggs. life cycle is several days so it is always best to repeat treatment and repeat and repeat. at least 3 weeks is needed for baby fish , so they just live in it without problems. i think that others use at least 35 days and i am begining to to that too with all fish that are not also treated with peroxide dip for flukes.
the little devils can be very tough to completly eliminate too. dose is between 2 to 4 mg/liter with 2.5 mg being most popular. When you change water add back the amount of prazi lost to the WC.
