Don't know, look at Dandy Orandas and call Ken Fisher and see what he has, last time I bought fish from him they were fabulous. Note also runs an auction on the Goldfish Connection web site:yess:
I bought from Ken at Dandy Orandas and Paul from Ranchu maniax and have have great experiences from them.

A's aquarium is belonged to Tommy (goldfishnet.com). Make sure you ask for additional pics when you buy from him.

I was wondering why you said to ask for additional pics, Fred? I was looking at one of his fish about a month ago...I ended up not getting it, but I would like to know for future reference. Thanks so much!

His claim for show quality doesn't meet my standard 90%.

OIC. I am so glad that I am not the only one who feels that way. He does have some nice fish at times, but there are some that (IMO) he asks WAYYY too much for and they just aren't worth the prices that he wants. The one I was looking at was a chocolate telescope. It had a wonderful color that I loved, but the eyes were not matched and there were other "flaws". He just wanted too much for it.

The quality avaliable largely depends on the breed and source. The reason quality TVRs are so expensive is a combination of degree of difficulty to breed good ones and that they are a Japanese breed. Chinese breeds are easier to find good ones. And breeds like ryukins where there is less in play, there is a larger % of good ones. But, really good fish of all breeds don't grow on trees. So aways keep that in mind when selecting. Know you standards! But if you really aren't interested in showing or breeding, then in comes down to more individual taste vs set standards....
