The question I have is are they going to be let loose in the market by the mases like regular commons or are they going to trinkle out more for the hobbyists? Id hate to pay a higher price now for more knowing that here in a year they will be .29 cents at walmart.

Wait until June and we can do another fry swap. I have most of the varieties and they wintered under ice because of lack of room. They are quite vigoroues. Dave M. on this page as Blue belly has done some really cool things and soon with have single tailed veils, and yellow Bristols inabout a year.

Since Ken Fisher has beautiful yellows in single telescopes and Orandas, it is going to be a matter of three or four years and we will have yellow everything. There seems to be a slight decoloring issue and some yellows turn yellow and white and others go white and then recolor when the water cools in the fall. Below is a yellow telescope from Dandy Orandas:

Then D.O. has some almost yellows that appear to be albinos, which are very cool;

So Allen, I think yellow is here to stay, it may take a 1/2 decade to get it in complex show fish.

Thanks Gary I just wanted to make sure that they were not going to be thrown onto the market in a year or two for pennies. I have three and I have grown to like them. Right now they are in a pond with some mock metalic Bristols. It is a shame that mocks arent kept by most breeders they are soooo amazing!! anyways.....I just recieved a lemon yellow pearlscale and a yellow and white pearl (I think this one may go red) but I think the lemon yellow is stable. I thought about using it in a veil outcross you were talking about a few months ago. June will be perfect for a fry swap I even have some oranda fry that are now a month old. The veils,Moores and telescopes are developing nicely. Talk to you soon
