View Full Version : Another happy customer Paul
I got the fish today at 1100am. Very active and very bulky. The red is very deep color. Hope I can keep it that way. The fish was very well packaged.
I will definitely buy from Paul again in a heartbeat!!!
BTW what are you feeding these ranchu to keep their colors?
Pics to follow soon

Getting them outdoors helps, but a diet rich in quality protein(bloodworm) is important. Don't forget the veggies either!

Thank you for your kind of words. Looking for some update pictures soon!
Your fish might be little skinny due to i keep all of my stock at low minimum diet.
After QT, please feed at least 4-6 times a day at 5-10 eating time (exclude pellet foods)
The only diet i would use for my fish would be Bloodworm, Hikari Lionhead, Steam Egg, and Saki-Hikari Color (Saki1:3Lionhead). You will need sunlight/human made light to maintain color.

Thanks for the tips. Right now its in a 20 gallon qt. I have a 65watt light I can put on it in a few days. I am just hoping I can keep the white on it. Here's a pic

Way to go Angie. I am happy to hear you also had a good transaction with Paul. By far my fish were more spunky upon arrival than any other fish I have received and that was after 2 days in the box. BTW your fish looks awesome!

I went in to check on her today and she dropped a ton of eggs. I thought she was too young guess I was wrong. I'm excited about breeding her later on.

My fish also spawned today/last night. The large male I got from Paul is quite a stud, he's been chasing everyone since I put him in our show tank.
Your ranchu looks beautiful, you should post more pictures.
