Im trying to get together some kind of fish room, was concerned a little bout humidity, i know i saw this addressed on here before i believe, but was unable to locate, just curious what people maybe using and or maybe some brands of dehumidifiers that may work well for you guys :youtellme:

The best route is a heat exchanger. It brings in fresh air, recovers heat from the out going air. It stopped my attic from rotting and it makes the room very nice to be in.
Dehumidifiers use a ton of electricity...

I agree a whole room humidity based switch, a humidistat that exchanges the air and dumps off the moisture is the best deal. I fought this for a decade and then bit the bullet. I ending up buy it from Jehmco.com. I had my heating and AC guy install it, but it is not too difficult to do yourself.
No more steamy windows and the fish room smell is gone!
