New tank 35 gallons

Hi guys,
I just received recently a fish tank (35 gallons) and i decided to make this one ready for Goldfish, will be my first tank dedicated for Goldfish.
Looking on internet for information i found this forum and i am very happy about that.
I need few advise from you guys:
- What kind of gravel(sand) i should use for Goldfish Tank?
- What plants are more durable in a Goldfish Tank?
Any advise will be appreciated.

I would suggest no gravel or sand and to put the plants in plastic ware. As for plants I suggest Anubias abd then sword plants. If you are set on gravel, then I would make it an inch in the front of the tank and only 1.5: in the back of the tank.
