My new Wakin from Sempai

Six Wakin arrived yesterday in between two snowstorms... they are very tame

Guenther, They look wunderbar! The fish with four red dots on the caudal fin is very unique. I have four wakin in my pond; sadly they have never shown any spawning activity. They are very hardy here in upstate New York. I would love to get some more wakin. Anyone in the US breeding them?

There is actually a number of people breeding them. Bekko in Hawaill has them and his shipping is reasonable, they are packed the BEST I've ever seen any fish packed. They came in clean water, healthy and immediately active

Yes, this male is our favorite too.
This fish also shows a very nice flash of the peduncle.

Oh, I already love these fish.
Very strong and beautiful, lively swimmers, very tame and no food problems - and yes, no calicos yet maybe later.

A new image - but 2 of the 6 fish developed during carantine raised scales with big yellow pus underneath. Until now, we lost one that turned into dropsy.
