Otohime larval feeds were developed for marine fish but is made with high-quality protein sources like krill, fish and squid meal. It smells like the sea shore. I got some several weeks ago for supplementing the diet of late fry and early juveniles. There are various sizes but I got 400-600 microns and 900-1400 microns (about 1 mm).

Nothing remarkable has happened. The fish may be growing a little faster than normal, but it's hard to say for sure. But, the fish absolutely love this stuff! If I give them a mixture of crushed flake, other fry foods and Otohime they will eat all the Otohime first.

It is way too expensive to feed adults but I gave it to some butterflys that we wanted to spawn and they went nuts for it too even though the particles are small. They couldn't have been more excited over daphnia or bloodworms and, coincidentally, they spawned too. It's nice to see fish act like they appreciate what you do for them... even though it's just dry food.

Find it at AquaticEco, Reed Mariculture and elsewhere.

Seems a bit confusing with all the sizes and types. What do you recommend for juveniles and other young fish?

I'm planning to obtain some quality baby TVR (that haven't yet changed color) via Paul in the near future and have been pondering what to feed them. Might have to give this a try.

I like 200 um and below for the first week, followed by something near 500 um. The n swithching to 0.35 mm for fish over 1"

many of these food s are made for commercial breeders, thus they ramp very systimatically,, for hobbyiest ramping is generally two step fry food then 0.35 mm fro:youtellme::exact::yess::youtellme:m Jehmco.com

You intended to say 3.5 mm.

Would the 3.5mm be for adult fish? I only see it sold in 20 kilo bags? Anywhere sell smaller quantities that you know of?
