I usually don't like to use any of the water conditioners that have slime coat enhancers or anything of the sort. For some reason, they foam a lot in my water, almost like soap. Additionally, kordon novaqua is dosed at 5ml per 10 gallons. At 19.95 a gallon, which equals about 3785ml or 757 10 gallon doses, you're paying about 2.6 cents per 10 gallon dose. Now prime on the other hand, does not have any slime coat additives, and is dosed at a rate of 1ml per 10 gallons of water. 2L of prime costs 32.49 on www.kensfish.com, but contains a comparatively higher 2000 10 gallon doses, at about 1.6 cents per 10 gallon dose, making a regular 2 liter bottle of prime roughly 40% cheaper than the sale priced bottle of kordon novaqua.
