HI All,

Here are some lists of Koi & Goldfish show in 2009. Anyone plan on going any show here?

Lari and I will be at Louisville, Indy, and Darien. The other two you listed is a bit far for us.
Tooting our horn a little; we had GC at Indy last year with a very black Oranda....... :).... unfortunately it is no longer with us. :(

What happened to the shows in Ohio?

Darien is a huge show for both koi and goldies.

I live in Indy and will show ranchu at there again. We are still looking at doing a TVR show with the IL club.

You gave us a couple of your culls before we left!! I'll have to get a pic for you. I think one is going to spawn soon... lol Other one has a lump on its spine and never has grown much but we still have him,,, aka Quasimoto.. lol

This year going to be tough for showing ranchu in the Goldfish show. Since im also going to show my fish >:) Priority Goal; Sweep All Prize and Ribbon on Ranchu and Oranda :yeahbaby:

I'm definitely taking 2 of my three year old black moors(Blueberry and Wabi Sabi:x) to the MPKS show in Darien. This will be my first show and I am very excited. I actually live 5 minutes from the venue. I doubt I will win anything but I am just so happy to get involved.

Marlin08 and I are planning to go to the Atlanta Koi Show. I was hoping we could meet some of you there, but I am sure it is a bit far from you all. It will be my first show!!!!:yess:

We should plan one for next year or this fall? There's so many people in NY and nearby in this forum. But how do you set up one? Is there a goldfish or koi club nearby we can join?

Look like we have to contact Brooklyn Aquarium society and also American Goldfish Association first.

I have no idea on how to set one of these up but I'm willing to help
any way I can. When your ready pm me & I'll give you my number and we'll
see how I can help. I just lost all my fish to a raccoon in my outdoor tub so
the later the better. Need time to regroup & regrow. Having a tough time finding quality fish.

I would think Darien or Indy would be closer than Louisville is to Akron??

I could be wrong, but considering how much further sough Louisville is..it just seems that way to me. I lived in the Findlay Ohio area most of my life prior to moving up here to Milwaukee. But also lived in Brunswick Ohio for a few years when I was a kid.
