During routine weekly water change. They get to stay in this 40G holding tank for a few hours while I scrub and clean the big tub and until the new water temperature is warm enough. Some bloodworm snacks are provided to keep them busy while waiting.

Suphi... Your fish are looking healthy. They seem to be taking the heat ok now. You had said you were concerned about the heat a week or so ago.

It seems that they're getting used to the heat. Quite adaptable little buggers.

Yup, whenever I can save enough money to buy a nice female...like that large R/W on Paul's website. These guys are all male so the project is on hold. I'm through with male fish though, lol.

It's also risky buying larger fish. They don't tolerate changes/shipping as well as smaller ones. It usually takes me at least few months to get them stabilize, free of infection, etc. If they die it becomes a huge money sink.

I might take up that offer next year if they have TVR characteristics. Looking for something with nice horizontal spread tail, that's something that my current fish are lacking.
