Chinese commerical breeders have been pumping out some very nice BFs lately.... So some of your main importers here in the states have them.

Those two posted have AWESOME coloration. I would like to believe that I have a great Japanese butterfly.. I bought this a long time ago at a koi store, which the lady said that all her goldfish were from japan. She also had some huge oranda swiming with some koi, they must have been close to 10". I asked her if they ever got ranchu and she said that they're too expensive and too fragile to import. I will post a picture of my butterfly in a little while.

This what I have closest, not really but this what I have. I personally think that cross this to black demekin should get offspring like those fish you posted.

Yes. that is a great fish. I wonder if the eyes are of the same size and not protrude too much. I don't have the capacity right now to work on butterflys yet.

Though the top fin and the right tail looks bent but perfect breeding specimen. Wish they take pic of top view of the fish when they list these guys...

If you have the ability to buy and import a fair amount of fish I am sure they would be more than happy to sell to you :)

Eli Goldfish Farm is a wholesaler. You need to buy at least 7 boxes of goldfish which total over 100 kg in weight. Freight charges are lower when over that weight. Depending on gf quality, density of smaller fish may reach 600 per box and more. Anyone for over 4000 fish, lol?

I saw good Butterflys with amazing color patterns at Tommy's. Some are huge.

I didn't get any as I have no more space for any other breeds. I have to put the thought on hold for now. :(

You can probably write to him or call him at goldfishnet.com .
