Fantail story

I know we live in the new world of TVR & SVR but sometimes you just can't pass up what you think is a good fish. I was in a lfs and I saw about 5 or 6 fantails swimming in a tank. One of them stood out it had a good body, good fins, swam well, etc. So I left without the fish. I thought of that fish all week and then went back. Luckily it was still there. The guy that was helping me kept scooping out the wrong fish I kept pointing to the one I wanted and he said "You don't want that one the others are much brighter". I said "It's not about the color it's about the body". He said he never heard anyone say that before, he said they always pick by the color. Anyhow I have the fish feel free to critique it and let me know what you think. Keep in mind it's still a young fish it's body length is just shy of 2 inches.
I feel that if I groom it properly it has the potential to be a real nice fantail.

Yeah it has both twin anal fins and a split tail.

The form/posture is very good. It would be interesting to see how he develops.

Looks well fed, shiny and healthy. Nice fantail!

Looks promising. Head might be a little broad so take care not to develop a hood. Steer clear of bloodworm and high protein foods.
