How much to offer on used tank?

Hi everybody. Just hoping to get some opinions here. A friend of a friend has a 120 gallon aquarium that he wants to sell. The whole set up stand, filter, lights. Not sure what everything is, but I am thinking no matter what I would like the tank. So what would be a fair offer for tank and lights? Thanks everybody.

$1 to $2 per gallon for old setup. For your case, it's between $120 to $240.

I go by the $1 rule, a little more maybe for a 120.
