My Tosakins has grown quite a bit since I got them, but their width (girth) is not catching up to their length. Can anyone tell me what would be the best food to fat them up?
Thanks

I feed them once in the morning before going to work and once when I get back. 1/2 a table spoon of Saki (more if I feed them frozen BW or BS ) for each time for 10 fish.

Consider the gell food recipe on the blog, the wheat germ allows them to bulk up as it is very easy to deigest and they feed for a much longer period of time:gogirl::exact:

Automatic feeder! I like the fish mates with a mix of saki and lionhead.

Wheatgerms, earthworms, and Saki did wonders for me...

You're not feeding enough. Use auto feeder and feed 4-5 times a day.

Thanks to all of you for your advice. I will pick up a automatic feeder this weekend.

For AutoFeeder, I prefer Daze or similar kind of archetecture. Widely use all over the world except US and cheaper than what is available in LFS. :)

I second this. Very easy to operate and maintain.

Don't bulk Tosakin up too much. It's unnecessary and can lead to bouyancy problems.

True, don't feed the way I feed my ranchu (all you can eat buffet>:)). You can still feed frequently in smaller amount which is also easier on the stomach.
