Water lilies and stuff

Having a water garden can be a real joy! There a literally a rainbow of colors to pick from in waterlilies, lotus, etc... If you put your golds outside for the summer, you will be amazed on how there coloring improves

Hi.. I have water lilies both in my fish pond and in a separate water garden container ( essentially just a big buried tub). the are beautiful to see and not all that hard to grow if you give them lots of light and fertilizer. Water lilies ( and lotus) are heavy feeders. Do you have a specific question?

I keep alot of water garden plants, lilies, bog plants and aquarium plants. I know that they really help keep the water in great quality and I really like giving my fish a "Natural" home to live in. I think my fish are Happier with a natural home and I know my fish are healthier for it.

Our koi say the water lillies taste like chicken. :)
Ours are mostly cheapies but each pond has at least one and we have six tubs with one each around the yard. We don't seriously collect them like some we know.

The tubs were frozen over 2 nights ago so not much to take pix of yet.. LOL
