Hey Guy, I was thinking about bring this fish to goldfish show this year in Chicago. Do you think my Ranchu has a chance to win something there? or oh well. Good luck next time!

it is about 5 inches long, doulbe anal fin and she also has split tail too.

IMO, for the show, this SVR looks heavy for its tail which looks small. Nice back line. I'm with Harzan to try it.

Telling how a fish will do in a show is impossible because it is all about the competition. What is the best fish that day. You could have a crappy fish but if everything else there is crappier (is there such a word), your crappy fish would win. Conversely, if you have a GC quality fish and every fish there is GC quality, you may not.
The important thing is to show it and enjoy the experience of getting together with like-minded people to exchange ideas, learn, and enjoy the experience.

Depends on the judge..... It has a TVR back, Likely Japanese blood.... Some prefer a high back/round look for SVR.... The good news is a bet it is a better swimmer than a typical Chinese lionchu type..... Of course the SVR standard is pretty vague...
