The face is really cute and adorable. I like the coloring, nice salt and pepper look. I do agree that we need to see a full view of the fish before we can add much more.

Definately it is not a show qualility. In oranda, wen growth is very important and your fish need more wen growth. Tail is kinda short, perhaps the fish is still young.

I would think this is a young fish that will continue to develope. It is not destined to be a show winner but I'm sure it can give years of enjoyment and will be a joy to watch. Enjoy your fish. :)

Color - lacks blue, and important part of Calico.
Conformation- Wen development average. Finnage fails in shape, size, and length. Not in proportion balance with body. Possible bent dorsal.

The colors looks nice, there isn't too much of one color and the speckling is nice and even. The colors you can kind of tweak. The body shape can also be altered and yours isn't too bad. It could use a little more bulk.
As far as the fins go they aren't very good like Dan said the dorsal seems bent, the tail isn't being carried very well, and the anal fin is very exposed.
The wen isn't very developed but that will come as the fish matures. In the end you want a nice full wen top and sides. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would put this fish at about a 4. Please don't feel bad, while your fish may not be show quality is certainly is a VERY attractive fish for a private collection.

hey don't feel bad about not having a show fish, I've never had one (but then I've only had 2 goldfish...) but they're a lot of fun and have tons of personality (or fishonality) (icthyality?)
overall your fish is a lot better than what we get in the pet stores around here, it has better balance, bright color, looks reasonably well proportioned
honestly I think I've seen some fish at shows that look worse because they have too much headgrowth and they seem (and swim) out of balance
