I have a can of freeze dried bloodworm(Hikari brand). When I bought it two months ago, the color of bloodworm is reddish. Now it becomes black. Something wrong with it?

Can't help you there. I had a bottle collecting dust from last year since I moved over to frozen BW. I dumped it recently because it turned black also. I'd say don't tank a chance when your fish cost $$$, not worth it.

I've had them turn a light red brown, but if they are black throw away not worth the risk on any fish u value...:exact:

Take no risk with fungus on food. They should be a light brown, they must taste great, the fish go nuts over them when they are fresh.... I am using OSI and Aqueon.
Under frozen BW, I just bought some Omega, fish love it.
