Great products for your Emperor 280/400 filter or others. It works very well for me. It is worth to try. They do have pre-cut and fit right into your Emperor 280/400 or Whisper filter or cut it yourself by block.

That was my question as well. I'm looking at it and was wondering if you can cut it to size like the bonded filter pads I use for my trickle filter.

Looks like this is made of ceramic, so you'd need some powertools to cut this material.
