Anybody else try this?

I was at the office the other day and one of my Ranchu had a bloody red patch on one lob of its' funtan. Having nothing at work for treatment I picked up the fish dabbed off the blood and took some hand sanitizer ( the sticky alcohol gell stuff) and dabbed it on the wound.:exact:
The fish is perfect and has been for three days...:yess:

Pretty easy for topical treatment!

Sounds good I used a similar method last week. One of my Orandas was showing a red dot on her belly, it looked kind of like a small pimple.
I used a method I picked up from a koi video. You mix salt with a little bit of water to make a salt paste. Then you take the fish and just dry the infected area. Then I used a small paint brush to paint on the salt paste. The infected area was gone by the morning.
