i am a college student. so when things break, its BAD.
upon arriving at school after a 2 hour drive with ALL of my tanks in the SUV, i started to set up and fill my tanks. i had all of my fish floating and getting acclimated when i noticed some water under my 6gal bowfront. this tank shares a dresser top with my 20gal. i asked my partner if she had spilled some water, she said yes. so i cleaned it up and went about setting up another tank.
i looked back at the 6gal, and theres MORE WATER. panic set in and i started to FREAK OUT. we established that it was the 6gal that was leaking.
i took the fish out, and carried the tank out to the sink area. after emptying the entire tank (gravel, plants, deco) we noticed all the little stress cracks in the bottom. GRRR!!! they start leaking NOW of all times?!?!?
wtf. so i had to shift all of my filters around to accomidate for the loss of one tank. now im down a tank, and the goldfish fry(2) that i am trying to raise are in a tank that is WAY to small for them!!!!
GAH!
anyone have any freebies near Vermont or New Hampshire? id REALLY REALLY appreciate it :D
