Do I still need to feed BBS if I have have started feeding my fish B.W. The babies are 45 days old and for the most part are about 1.5 inches. Is there something they can get from BBS that is not available in B.W. If so I will feed both. FYI I am using feeders with timers and what a difference in size. (Thanks Gary H. I am using the auto mate F14 couldn't be happier) .I am using Otohime food. I bought the sample pack with multiple sizes and it is working out well.

I was told by Thai breeders that blood worms are better for head growth development, so if they can eat BW I'd just use that as main staple for live/frozen food. Side-view ranchu tend to have more head growth, so use your own judgement on how much you need to feed unless you prefer fish with excessive wen.

Auto-feeder is an essential tool for grooming young fish, as they need as much food as they can eat and most of us can't be around to feed them all day long.
