I just ordered rimless glass tank 48”x24”x12” (LxWxH) with starfire glass top to use as a coffee table tank for tosakins. I had it drilled two holes in the middle for filter. Since it is going to be used as coffee table, I am thinking of making a stand for it, which will not higher than 10”. I am having a hard time looking for a filter which will fit underneath it and easy to take care of. Does any have any suggestion on filter option?

Thanks
Zaw

I can't think of anything that will fit underneath a tank that size. You can use a canister type and place it beside the tank, the tubes will fit underneath for sure.>:)

I am thinking about DIY filter made with plastic shoe box or similar things. I have to do more research on parts requirements.

Maybe you can use a biofilter, installed at the side of your tank

, bottom, or in the corner

Installed at the side you only need 3-5 cm of space
