What would you say is the hardest thing to repair on a injured fish?
And list the steps you would take to fix, including meds.

Broken leading ray of the dorsal or caudal. Bent for ever.

There are people who say you can splint them with a small piece of plastic straw - like those little coffee stirrers. Slit the straw up the side and put it on the broken ray. Maybe they were pulling my leg. I can't imagine the patience required to keep the straw in place.

OK, although not exactly on topic-
Sinker/floater: oil of cloves...

I have to agree with Eric, as SBD problems have been the worst thing that I have had to deal with. So far, making my own food is helping, but as SBD cannot be cured and only gets worse, I will eventually have to use clove oil, too.
