I recently acquired a calico and a black moor. The black moor i got about 4 days ago. The calico i got yesterday. The black moor is very active at all times. Today i noticed the calico laying around at the bottom of the tank, except when i feed them.
I checked my water temp and it was 82 degrees. Probably this is too warm for them. I lowered my heater, so hopefully it will eventually go to about 75 degrees. Is this temp ok? I kept it on the warmer side, because i also have 2 betta fish in the tank.

Can you help?

Thanks.

Moses

What size tank are they in? Do you know your water parameters? Ammonia, nitrIte, and nitrAte? Are you familiar with the nitrogen cycle?
It is very risky keeping bettas with goldies. Can you seperate them?
