Here are some of the double tailed Bristols from the last year. These are ones I saved from the regular culling (1 dbl out of thousands of singles).I have noticed some interesting things about these guys. They are all double anal and have a heavier body than there single tailed counterparts (genetic throwback I am sure from the origional crosses used to develope the Bristol tail)Plus their tail isnt actually double all the way up.The top lobe of the tail is single almost pinched looking and the bottom lobes are double,Almost a triangle effect which I have to say I reall like. I found that I have to take them out within the first week or they pass away I would geuss its due to the fact they swim slower than the single tailed brothers and sisters. They almost all started off nacreous and except two but the later started developing the red blue and black speckeling. youll have to excuse my spelling it is late here but I wanted to get these up just to show one of my projects.

Cool looking fish. Are you going to try to develop this line, or just keep them as "sports"?

Oops, sick was the wrong smilie! I think they are definately worth developing, I think maybe you should work on getting some tail splits into the line if you do develop. Dan
