I just moved all my fish from my outside pond back to indoor tanks. To my surprise, the 30+ veiltail baby I have from a cross between a female blue / green veil from Gary with a matt male from Al Foster, a few of the fish look loke walkin. Some are blue/green and some are matellic red. I did an internet search and find the following statement from a site:
"One of the latest additions to the Jikins Goldfish is the type created by aquarist Al Foster. He has crossed Jikins Golfish with Philadelphia Veiltail Goldfish and developed a Jikin Goldfish with a significantly longer flowing caudal fin."

Does any of you have similar experience? Does either Al or Gary's veil carry Jikin gene?
