Floatie SVR

Our big, about 7" black SVR spawned Wednesday, 4 days ago. Her stomach still looks pretty large. She didnt put out alot of eggs for as gavid as she is. She is starting to show signs of becoming floatie. Just now gave her peas. Is there something else I can do? Sure don't want to loose her as she has won 4 RGC's over the past year. Needless to say we are worried about her.

You might try medicated pellets or coating some of you own with Romet TC

Maybe you want to try to increasing the temperature to around 78-83F. Then using your thumb massage her stomach from front to anal.

Thanx...... Peas seem to have helped alot. Think we will let the peas pass thru her system today and not feed. Sure had me worried there.
