Click on the oranda above to open the album!

Some of you have already seen these, but I though I might as well share with the entire site. I'm working on these drawings in my spare time. Almost ready to upload a tri-color broadtail ryukin. It'll probably be ready tomorrow.

I am currently taking requests, so if anyone wants a personalized goldfish avatar, post a picture of your goldfish here or send me a PM :D I'll make it look as close to the original as I can. If you have a request, please be patient with me as they are done in my spare time.

Those are great!

Do you have some special drawing tablet, or can you do those with your mouse?

Rob

Mikey V asked me to draw his ranchu Annie. Here is my take at it:

Very impressive! The way I see it, you could easily generate extra revenue with your talents....goldfish mugs, T-shirts, mouse pads, key chains, etc. I'd buy them and I'm sure others would as well. You could even design/draw logos for AGA and ARS.

Thanks! That is quite the compliment. I am going to work on stuff for ARS. That is what started these drawings, to see what I could produce. I haven't done anything like these drawings in a while, almost 10 years.

On another note, I tried something a little different with this last drawing I did for Mikey V. My place of employment has a pretty nice printer/copier/fax/scanner. Instead of drawing the whole thing with a mouse(takes forever!) I drew the picture with good ol' pencil & paper and scanned it on to my computer. If anyone is interested, this is what the whole process looks like:

Can you look up the Avatar for Veiltail Guy, it is from an old fish book plate, I would love that and would buy it.

Again, this is really cool. It means a lot to see the effort you put into it, it reminds me of watching those guys who do caricatures at carnivals and stuff!
Im going to print this out on some nice photo paper, and find a nice little frame for it :yess:

Member ak47_chicago asked to get an avatar drawn of his ranchu last week and I just finished it. I am really proud of this one.

Finished this just before closing time at work :)

Presenting thomasn's calico pearlscale:

Large:

This one was a bit of a challenge. I am still not very comfortable with calico markings and the pearls were difficult to arrange properly. I like it and I hope Thomas does too.

I am also not accepting any more requests at the moment, though I will open it up again real soon.
