just curious
has anyone actually managed to get their fish to eat lettuce????
mine used to hate it
they'd just spit it out and get a disgusted look
one of them eventually ate a piece (about 3 years later)

They will not eat lettuce when they are getting plenty of pellets and other tasty things. If you give them lettuce and do not feed anything else until they have finished their salad, then they will eat it.

Most of my fish are very picky and will not eat veggis or fruit. However, I sneak them into their gel food (not much fruit at all but tons of veggis) and they eat them up then! LOL!
