here's another shot of my successfully planted goldfish tank. Tank has been up and running since August of last year. Plants get really overgrown every 2-3 months. I don't use any fertilizer. Low tech organic potting soil capped with 1-2 inches of gravel and sand. Light provided by a Current Satellite plus. I let the plants establish themselves for about 2 months before adding the fish. Now any abuse the plants take goes relatively unnoticed. This is the first time I've chopped the Amazon Swords down but they were over taking the tank. 2 weeks later they are already sending up new shoots. Thanks for looking!

Wow, this is so nice! What is the tall plant in the back left?

Thanks! I really enjoy it. Back left is either Amazon Sword or Hygrophila.
