    Dear everyone,

I managed to get my hands on some calico ranchu.
    How do you recommend grooming?

I understand food is of great influence, but also water depth & current.
What is a preferred depth for grooming ranchu?

    Thanks! :)

I don't know if there are any people here who've been are keeping Ranchu for long enough to tell if water depth really makes a difference, but from my experience a good Ranchu is an excellent swimmer and thus does not really care about water depth. But for all goldfish longer and shallow tanks are more practical than tall and narrow ones.

I own many tanks and tubs, so enough choice. I've kept ranchu for a while now, but am very new to grooming.

This is still at the sellers. I'm picking some up tomorrow :)

Just type in "Grooming Ranchu" in the search box at the top right of the page and you will find 100's of threads on Ranchu grooming.

Good luck and happy fishkeeping, Jim.
